A Lifer's Diary, Part 19: Simulating a Generation III Game of Life for Car Nuts
As my 500th post overall, I have prepared a special gift - a simulated game based on Hasbro's Game of Life - but with a twist: I will be using the Car Crazy Edition spinner wheel set (based on Generation III, but car-themed) to do so. As in a regular game, there will be six players, although this time, they will be represented by a team named after their color. They, along with their respective inventories, are presented in this table as follows:
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Return) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red | 10 | None | 0 | 0 | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | None (0) |
| Blue | 10 | None | 0 | 0 | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | None (0) |
| Yellow | 10 | None | 0 | 0 | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | None (0) |
| Green | 10 | None | 0 | 0 | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | None (0) |
| Orange | 10 | None | 0 | 0 | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | None (0) |
| Purple | 10 | None | 0 | 0 | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | None (0) |
Above 1: The player list for this simulated Game of Life, based on the Generation III rule set, but using the Car Crazy Edition theme, where Career/Salary and Starter Home/House Cards have been renamed accordingly. The stats table now shows the number of fans (across both genders) and the total amount of Part Card returns accumulated thus far for each player.
In addition, the 125% property resale value multiplier rule (relative to each property's purchase price) is in effect, but segment-specific special abilities are not available. The abbreviations for each Share the Wealth Card type are now as follows:
| Type | Abbreviation |
|---|---|
| Pay | P |
| Collect | C |
| Spin to Win x2 | S2 |
| Spin to Win x4 | S4 |
| Exemption | Ex |
To start things off, every player will spin to see who goes first; if any ties occur, the first player to spin that number would spin first relative to the other(s) to break the tie. The spins made by all six players (in chronological order) are as follows:
Above, from top: The spins made by each player to determine their turn order in this simulated Generation III Game Of Life (Car Crazy Edition), in chronological order. Since Blue spun a 9, it will start first, and with the order of play progressing from top to bottom (akin to clockwise on a physical board), the players will take their turns in this order: Blue, Yellow, Green, Orange, Purple, Red.
Each player also receives three Share the Wealth Cards. The Red Team's draw was as follows:
Above, from top: The Red Team drew a Collect Card and two 2x Spin to Win Cards at the start of the game - the latter two could come in handy for those Spin to Win sessions.
Next up was the Blue Team, which drew these three cards below:
Above, from top: The Blue Team's initial Share the Wealth Card collection is a well-rounded one, capable of covering a wide variety of situations.
Now for the Yellow team, Which started off with the following cards:
Above, from top: These three cards that the Yellow Team drew at the start provide another balanced mix - but only time will tell if it proves to be the right choice.
As for the Green Team, this was their initial trio of cards:
Above, from top: Drawing a pair of Exemption Cards at the start will help the Green Team resist lawsuits and other players' cards better than usual - although they can't split their payments or opponents' earnings, at least not initially.
In response, the Orange Team drew three cards as follows:
Above, from top: Another example of a balanced trio of Share the Wealth Cards, this time for the Orange Team - although these three are of no use in Spin to Win, they could be useful in other situations.
Finally, the Purple Team exactly matched the blue team with an identical initial Share the Wealth Card collection:
Above: By sheer coincidence, the Purple and Blue Teams started off with an identical set of Share the Wealth Cards with which to start the game, with the only difference being the order in which they were drawn.
With all six teams' initial Share the Wealth Card collections set, the game can now begin. As always, there will be 22 Life Tiles in the draw pile; the other three in this rule set will be given in random order to the first three Mega Motor Museum (equivalent to the source material's Millionaire Estates) retirees, if possible.
Turn 1 (Blue)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Return) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red | 10 | None | 0 | 3 (1x C, 2x S2) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | None (0) |
| Blue | 10 | None | 0 | 3 (1x S4, 1x Ex, 1x C) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | None (0) |
| Yellow | 10 | None | 0 | 3 (1x S2,1x P, 1x C) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | None (0) |
| Green | 10 | None | 0 | 3 (1x S2, 2x Ex) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | None (0) |
| Orange | 10 | None | 0 | 3 (1x P, 1x Ex, 1x C) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | None (0) |
| Purple | 10 | None | 0 | 3 (1x C, 1x S4, 1x Ex) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | None (0) |
The Blue Team goes first and chooses Start College, immediately incurring $125,000 in debt (including interest) in the process, as shown below:
Above: The Blue Team went to college at the start - it must now incur a $125,000 debt after interest is factored in - but the trade-off is potential for an even higher-paying Premium Segment card.
On their first turn, the Blue Team spun a 9, thus landing on the Life Tile space titled "Graduation Day!", and acquiring a Life Tile in the process.
Before doing so, however, they decided to buy a Part Card - specifically, the one bearing the number 4 (Wheels & Tires) - thus leaving them with $0. They do, however, hope to recoup their investment - and they could potentially do so before the halfway point of the first round of turns, given that every Long-Term Investment return yields $5,000, whereas buying such an item only costs $10,000.
Turn 2 (Yellow)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Return) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red | 10 | None | 0 | 3 (1x C, 2x S2) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | None (0) |
| Blue | 0 | None | 1 | 3 (1x S4, 1x Ex, 1x C) | None (0) | 0/0 | 125 | 4 (Suspension, Wheels & Tires) (0) |
| Yellow | 10 | None | 0 | 3 (1x S2,1x P, 1x C) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | None (0) |
| Green | 10 | None | 0 | 3 (1x S2, 2x Ex) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | None (0) |
| Orange | 10 | None | 0 | 3 (1x P, 1x Ex, 1x C) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | None (0) |
| Purple | 10 | None | 0 | 3 (1x C, 1x S4, 1x Ex) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | None (0) |
On their first turn, the Yellow Team chooses to start a career immediately, bypassing the longer College branch (which in my hypothetical Car Crazy Edition, would've most likely been called either Engineering School, or even Racing School, but the real-life global automotive industry employs a lot of college-educated engineers and/or test drivers, so it's a change that's merely nice to have, rather than a must-have).
Above: The Yellow Team picked the Start Career path immediately, and must now select a Segment Card before they can begin their turn in earnest.
Their next action is to draw a Segment Card (not a Premium Segment Card - those items are reserved exclusively for players who choose the Start College option at the start of their first turn), and this is what they get:
Above: The Yellow Team hit the jackpot on their first turn by drawing the coveted Sports Car Segment Card - the highest-paying one in its deck.
Feeling confident, the Yellow Team buys a Part Card on number 1 (Engine/Exhaust). They then make their first real spin of the game, which turns out to be a 3.
After passing the first Pay Day space on the board, the team lands on the board's first Collect Space: "Inheritance! Collect $20,000." Obviously, this attracts attention from all of their opponents, three of which (Red, Blue, and Orange Teams) have at least one Collect Card in their inventories. The Blue Team chooses not to use theirs, but the other two of those three teams (Red and Orange) both do, so the latter two must spin the spinner once each to determine whose card ends up being used on this turn. The results are as follows:
Above, from top: The Red and Orange Teams' results, respectively, of the first spinner duel of this game related to Collect Card usage. As you can see, the Red Team spun the higher number of the two, and gets to use their Collect Card against the Yellow Team.
With the Red Team winning their first spinner duel (8 to 3 against the Orange Team), they earn the privilege to use a Collect Card against the Yellow Team, causing both teams to receive $10,000 each. This leaves the Red and Yellow Teams with $70,000 and $20,000 respectively at the end of this turn.
Turn 3 (Green)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Return) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red | 20 | None | 0 | 2 (2x S2) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | None (0) |
| Blue | 0 | None | 1 | 3 (1x S4, 1x Ex, 1x C) | None (0) | 0/0 | 125 | 4 (Suspension, Wheels & Tires) (0) |
| Yellow | 70 | Sports Car (60) | 0 | 3 (1x S2,1x P, 1x C) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | 1 (Engine/Exhaust) (0) |
| Green | 10 | None | 0 | 3 (1x S2, 2x Ex) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | None (0) |
| Orange | 10 | None | 0 | 3 (1x P, 1x Ex, 1x C) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | None (0) |
| Purple | 10 | None | 0 | 3 (1x C, 1x S4, 1x Ex) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | None (0) |
The Green Team chooses to start a career immediately.
Above: Following in the Yellow Team's tire tracks, the Green Team picks the Start Career option at the beginning of the game.
The Yellow Team already took the Sports Car Segment Card, but the Green Team did the next best thing by drawing the Muscle/Pony Car Segment Card.
Above: The Green Team drew this card to start things off, which could make things more interesting later on.
Immediately the Green Team buys the #2 Part Card (Gearbox & Drivetrain) and makes their first spin. It's a 6, so they pass two Pay Day spaces on this turn from their current position.
They arrive at a Take a Share the Wealth Card space, and draw a card from the Share the Wealth Card deck. It turns out to be an Exemption Card, which gives them three so far, and they end this turn with $100,000.
Above: Drawing an Exemption Card at the end of their first turn has given the Green Team three such cards - but will they have a chance to use any of them before the game ends?
Turn 4 (Orange)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Return) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red | 20 | None | 0 | 2 (2x S2) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | None (0) |
| Blue | 0 | None | 1 | 3 (1x S4, 1x Ex, 1x C) | None (0) | 0/0 | 125 | 4 (Suspension, Wheels & Tires) (0) |
| Yellow | 70 | Sports Car (60) | 0 | 3 (1x S2,1x P, 1x C) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | 1 (Engine/Exhaust) (0) |
| Green | 100 | Muscle/Pony Car (50) | 0 | 4 (1x S2, 3x Ex) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | 2 (Gearbox & Drivetrain) (0) |
| Orange | 10 | None | 0 | 3 (1x P, 1x Ex, 1x C) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | None (0) |
| Purple | 10 | None | 0 | 3 (1x C, 1x S4, 1x Ex) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | None (0) |
The Orange Team, slightly miffed at being outbid for the right to use their sole Collect Card before their first turn, goes to college, leaving them $125,000 in debt (including interest).

Above: The Orange Team has chosen to compete with the Blue Team directly by going to college before earning a Segment Card.
They buy Part Card 5 (Aerodynamics), thus leaving them with $0 before their first spin - which is a 10, thus allowing them to graduate on their first turn. They then draw the following two Premium Segment cards as follows:
Above, from top: Unexpectedly, the Orange Team hits a grand slam off the first pitch regarding Premium Segment card selection upon graduation by drawing the two most lucrative options - and unsurprisingly, they pick the Hypercar for its higher salary.
Their next spin is a 5, which yields a Part Card return.
After passing a Pay Day space, they then land on a Pay Space that reads "Snowboarding accident! Pay $5,000" and end their turn with $100,000.
Turn 5 (Purple)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red | 20 | None | 0 | 2 (2x S2) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | None (0) |
| Blue | 0 | None | 1 | 3 (1x S4, 1x Ex, 1x C) | None (0) | 0/0 | 125 | 4 (Suspension, Wheels & Tires) (0) |
| Yellow | 70 | Sports Car (60) | 0 | 3 (1x S2,1x P, 1x C) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | 1 (Engine/Exhaust) (0) |
| Green | 100 | Muscle/Pony Car (50) | 0 | 4 (1x S2, 3x Ex) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | 2 (Gearbox & Drivetrain) (0) |
| Orange | 100 | Hypercar (100) | 0 | 3 (1x P, 1x Ex, 1x C) | None (0) | 0/0 | 125 | 5 (Aerodynamics) (5) |
| Purple | 10 | None | 0 | 3 (1x C, 1x S4, 1x Ex) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | None (0) |
Desperate to catch up to the Orange Team, the Purple Team also goes to college.
Above: The Purple Team also went to college - what did you expect?
They buy Part Card #8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) and spin a 1 (yielding a Part Card Return for the Yellow Team and thus bringing their bank account up to $75,000 so far), thus landing on a Collect Space that reads "Scholarship! Collect $20,000", and drawing attention from the Blue, Yellow, and Orange Teams (all of whom still have exactly one College Career Card each - the Red Team now has none, since they already used theirs). However, only the Orange Team chooses to use it, and to their surprise, the Purple Team blocks it with their one and only Exemption Card, so the Purple Team ends their first turn with $20,000.
Turn 6 (Red)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red | 20 | None | 0 | 2 (2x S2) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | None (0) |
| Blue | 0 | None | 1 | 3 (1x S4, 1x Ex, 1x C) | None (0) | 0/0 | 125 | 4 (Suspension, Wheels & Tires) (0) |
| Yellow | 75 | Sports Car (60) | 0 | 3 (1x S2,1x P, 1x C) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | 1 (Engine/Exhaust) (0) |
| Green | 100 | Muscle/Pony Car (50) | 0 | 4 (1x S2, 3x Ex) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | 2 (Gearbox & Drivetrain) (0) |
| Orange | 100 | Hypercar (100) | 0 | 2 (1x P, 1x Ex) | None (0) | 0/0 | 125 | 5 (Aerodynamics) (5) |
| Purple | 20 | None | 0 | 2 (1x C, 1x S4) | None (0) | 0/0 | 125 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (0) |
Last but not least, the Red Team goes to college.
After buying Part Card #9 (Lights and Accessories), they spin a 3 and land on a Life Tile space that reads "Make new friends for life". They now have one Life Tile, although in addition to this, they also have $10,000 left in their bank account as a result of their early investment.
And so the first round of six turns has come to an end - but there will be many more ahead. The second round is guaranteed to be spicy, what with half the field having picked a different (high-paying) Segment Card Each, and the Blue Team guaranteed to graduate on the very next turn.
Round 1 Summary: The Yellow and Green Teams have chosen the two highest-paying regular Segment Cards (Sports Car and Muscle Car, respectively), while the Orange Team is not only the first to graduate, but also has the most lucrative Premium Segment Card (Hypercar), and the Red, Purple, and Blue Teams aren't far behind. A few Share the Wealth Cards have been used by now, but no Tune-Ups (equivalent to Pay Raises in the vanilla game) have been acquired yet. Oh, and there are still 20 Life Tiles in the draw pile up for grabs.
Turn 7 (Blue)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red | 10 | None | 1 | 2 (2x S2) | None (0) | 0/0 | 125 | 9 (Lights and Accessories) (0) |
| Blue | 0 | None | 1 | 3 (1x S4, 1x Ex, 1x C) | None (0) | 0/0 | 125 | 4 (Suspension, Wheels & Tires) (0) |
| Yellow | 75 | Sports Car (60) | 0 | 3 (1x S2,1x P, 1x C) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | 1 (Engine/Exhaust) (0) |
| Green | 100 | Muscle/Pony Car (50) | 0 | 4 (1x S2, 3x Ex) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | 2 (Gearbox & Drivetrain) (0) |
| Orange | 100 | Hypercar (100) | 0 | 2 (1x P, 1x Ex) | None (0) | 0/0 | 125 | 5 (Aerodynamics) (5) |
| Purple | 20 | None | 0 | 2 (1x C, 1x S4) | None (0) | 0/0 | 125 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (0) |
By reaching the Graduation Day space on their first turn, the Blue Team is guaranteed to be able to graduate on this turn and select a pair of Premium Segment Cards from the five that remain in that deck. The Hypercar Card has already been allocated to the Orange Team, so any and all spins of the Premium Segment wheel on this turn that yield this particular result must be ignored. Speaking of the Orange Team, they're hoping that none of the Red, Blue, or Purple teams claim the Supercar Segment Card, the second-most lucrative one in its deck - and it's still impossible to rule out that possibility right now.
The Blue Team spins an 8 on this turn, advancing to the Premium Segment Choice space - thus making them the second team to do so after the Orange Team got there with the first spin of their first turn. In addition, the Purple Team received $5000 from their Part Card due to it bearing the number 8.
Their next task is to draw two Premium Segment cards, and these are what they get:
Above, from top: To no one's surprise, the Blue Team draws the Supercar Premium Segment card upon "graduation" - even if it was on their second try, it's exactly what the Orange Team feared.
Immediately after drawing the Supercar Premium Segment Card, they ignore the other option (the Premium Sedan, which pays out nowhere near as much). They then spin again - and get a 6.
After passing a Pay Day space and collecting their $90,000 salary, they land on a space that reads "Elope! Move to Hire Test Driver." They immediately move to that particular space, and in doing so, pass another Pay Day space (thus earning their $90,000 salary again), before landing on the Hire Test Driver space and receiving a Life Tile. They must now spin for wedding gifts, and this is their result:
Above: The Blue Team spun a 9 for their wedding gift and received $10,000 from every other player.
By pocketing $50,000 in wedding gifts from the Hire Test Driver space ($10,000 per opponent), the Blue Team has $230,000 in their bank account - although the Red Team isn't left completely penniless due to their accumulation of $5,000 from their Part Card return. Immediately after receiving the windfall of a lifetime, the Blue Team pays off the entirety of their debt, leaving them with $105,000 before their next spin, which turns out to be another 9 that negates the Red Team's wedding losses on this turn due to receiving two Part Card returns.
After passing a Pay Day + $10,000 Tune-Up space and receiving yet another $90,000 salary payout in addition to a Tune-Up (which increases their salary by $10,000 to $100,000), the Blue Team reaches the Buy a Starter Garage space safely. They buy the most expensive option - the 5-car Deluxe Garage - for $180,000, knowing that it will yield the highest return on investment if it were to be sold off later on.
Above: The Blue Team made the right decision by buying the most expensive Starter Garage option - it would yield more resale value than any other.
With just $15,000 in their pocket, the Blue Team spins again. This time, they spin an 8, causing the Purple Team to gain $5,000 from their Part Card, and the Blue Team to pass a Pay Day space before landing on a Life Tile space that reads "Vote!" and receiving a Life Tile.
By the end of their very fruitful second turn, the Blue Team has $115,000 on hand in addition to 3 Life Tiles, putting them in prime position for a run at the title - even though they haven't used any Share the Wealth Cards yet. This brings the Yellow Team, which is slightly peeved at the idea of someone else jumping out to an early lead, up to bat - or rather spin, since their turn is up next.
Turn 8 (Yellow)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red | 10 | None | 1 | 2 (2x S2) | None (0) | 0/0 | 125 | 9 (Lights and Accessories) (10) |
| Blue | 115 | Supercar (100) | 3 | 3 (1x S4, 1x Ex, 1x C) | 5-Car Deluxe Garage (225) | 0/0 | 0 | 4 (Suspension, Wheels & Tires) (0) |
| Yellow | 65 | Sports Car (60) | 0 | 3 (1x S2,1x P, 1x C) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | 1 (Engine/Exhaust) (0) |
| Green | 90 | Muscle/Pony Car (50) | 0 | 4 (1x S2, 3x Ex) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | 2 (Gearbox & Drivetrain) (0) |
| Orange | 90 | Hypercar (100) | 0 | 2 (1x P, 1x Ex) | None (0) | 0/0 | 125 | 5 (Aerodynamics) (5) |
| Purple | 20 | None | 0 | 2 (1x C, 1x S4) | None (0) | 0/0 | 125 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (10) |
Still reeling from what the Blue Team just did, the Yellow Team takes their turn as usual, and spins a 1, gaining $5,000 from a Part Card return in the process.
This takes them to a Pay Day space, giving them $60,000 from their salary and leaving them with $130,000 by the end of this turn. Next up: the Green Team, which is hot on the heels of the Yellow Team.
Turn 9 (Green)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red | 10 | None | 1 | 2 (2x S2) | None (0) | 0/0 | 125 | 9 (Lights and Accessories) (10) |
| Blue | 115 | Supercar (100) | 3 | 3 (1x S4, 1x Ex, 1x C) | 5-Car Deluxe Garage (225) | 0/0 | 0 | 4 (Suspension, Wheels & Tires) (0) |
| Yellow | 130 | Sports Car (60) | 0 | 3 (1x S2,1x P, 1x C) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | 1 (Engine/Exhaust) (5) |
| Green | 90 | Muscle/Pony Car (50) | 0 | 4 (1x S2, 3x Ex) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | 2 (Gearbox & Drivetrain) (0) |
| Orange | 90 | Hypercar (100) | 0 | 2 (1x P, 1x Ex) | None (0) | 0/0 | 125 | 5 (Aerodynamics) (5) |
| Purple | 20 | None | 0 | 2 (1x C, 1x S4) | None (0) | 0/0 | 125 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (10) |
The Green Team takes their turn as scheduled - and they spin a 5.
This gives the Orange Team (whose turn is next up in the order) a $5000 Part Card return (thus leaving them at $95,000 when their next turn starts), while the Green Team lands on a Life Tile space that reads "Engagement Party!", thus giving them their first Life Tile of the game.
Turn 10 (Orange)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red | 10 | None | 1 | 2 (2x S2) | None (0) | 0/0 | 125 | 9 (Lights and Accessories) (10) |
| Blue | 115 | Supercar (100) | 3 | 3 (1x S4, 1x Ex, 1x C) | 5-Car Deluxe Garage (225) | 0/0 | 0 | 4 (Suspension, Wheels & Tires) (0) |
| Yellow | 130 | Sports Car (60) | 0 | 3 (1x S2,1x P, 1x C) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | 1 (Engine/Exhaust) (5) |
| Green | 90 | Muscle/Pony Car (50) | 1 | 4 (1x S2, 3x Ex) | None (0) | 0/0 | 0 | 2 (Gearbox & Drivetrain) (0) |
| Orange | 95 | Hypercar (100) | 0 | 2 (1x P, 1x Ex) | None (0) | 0/0 | 125 | 5 (Aerodynamics) (5) |
| Purple | 20 | None | 0 | 2 (1x C, 1x S4) | None (0) | 0/0 | 125 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (10) |
The Orange Team spins an 8, passing a Pay Day space en route to the Hire Test Driver space, and earning a Life Tile in addition to a $100,000 salary in the process, thus leaving them with $195,000. However, they are not the only beneficiary of this spin; the Purple Team gained $5,000 from a Part Card return.
Their spin for wedding gifts is a perfect 10.
Immediately after receiving $10,000 in gifts from every other player, they pay off the entirety of their debt, thus leaving them with $120,000 before they spin again.
Turn 11 (Purple)

The Purple Team is next up. They, like the Red Team, are the only ones who haven't paid off any of their initial debt yet - the Yellow and Green Teams are the only players are, in fact, the only ones never to have incurred any debt in the first place. As the Purple Team contemplates its strategy going forward, they spin a 6.
This takes them to a Life Tile space that reads "Honor Roll!", whereupon they receive a Life Tile - a first for this team. They end this turn having neither gained nor lost any money.
Turn 12 (Red)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

The Red Team Spins an 8 and reaches the Premium Segment Choice space, thus causing the Purple Team to receive another Part Card return worth $5,000.
They then draw the Premium Sedan/Wagon and Sports/Luxury Sedan Premium Segment cards, taking the latter before spinning again.

Above, from top: The Red Team picks the Sports/Luxury Sedan Premium Segment card over the Premium Sedan/Wagon option, simply because the former is the more lucrative of the two options they have given themselves.
The Red Team's next spin is a 6.
This takes them to the Elope space the Blue Team landed on during their most recent turn, and as such, the Red Team immediately proceeds to the Hire Test Driver space, having collected a Life Tile and twice their $70,000 salary in the process. They then spin for wedding gifts and receive $10,000 from every opponent due to spinning a 10.
The Red Team immediately pays off the entirety of their debt, thus leaving them with $65,000. They then spin another 6.
This results in them landing on a Pay Day + $10,000 Tune-Up space, and so they end this turn with $135,000.
Round 2 Summary: The Yellow, Green, and Purple Teams are the only ones who haven't reached the Hire Test Driver space yet - but they will do so eventually. In fact, the Purple Team has yet to graduate, but that, too, is an inevitability. For now, the state of play remains fluid, with the Blue and Orange Teams clear frontrunners, and everyone else guaranteed to be close behind as things stand. Meanwhile, nine of the 22 Life Tiles that began this game in the draw pile have already been claimed; only 13 remain before the teams are forced to cannibalize each others' inventories - and even this will become impossible if every Life Tile is taken out of play through retirement at Countryside Acres.

The Blue Team takes their turn and spins the spinner, as usual. This time, it lands on a 4, giving them their first Part Card return worth $5,000 and bringing their cash on hand to $100,000.
They land on a Life Tile space that reads "Attend Hollywood movie premiere." They receive another Life Tile (their fourth of this game) and end their turn.
Turn 14 (Yellow)

The Yellow Team spins a 10 on this turn.
In doing so, they reach the Hire Test Driver space (which rewards a Life Tile) via a Pay Day space, from which they collect their $60,000 salary, thus leaving them at $170,000 for now. They then spin for wedding gifts, and are surprised to get another 10.
This results in them collecting $10,000 from every other team; as such, they have $220,000 before their next spin. That one, however, turns out to be a 2 (which yields a $5,000 Part Card return for the Green Team), and with the Orange Team currently occupying the space it leads to, the Yellow Team advances to the nearest unoccupied space - which turns out to be a Take a Share the Wealth Card space.
They then draw a Share The Wealth Card as instructed - and this one is a Collect Card.
At the end of this turn, the Yellow Team still has $220,000 in their bank account, although they, like every team other than the Blue Team, haven't purchased a Starter Garage yet.

The Green Team spins a 2 and receives another Part Card return worth $5,000.
They pass a Pay Day space and collect their $50,000 salary, before landing on a Collect Space that reads "Win a race! Collect $10,000." However, the Yellow Team uses one of their Collect Cards against them (with both the two other teams having at least one such card each declining the opportunity), and in response, the Green Team uses one of their Exemption Cards to retain the full share. This leaves the Green Team with $145,000.

The Orange Team is next.
After spinning an 8 (which yields a $5,000 Part Card return for the Purple Team, whose turn is up next), the Orange Team passes a Pay Day + $10,000 Tune-Up space, and heads into the Buy a Starter Garage space with $200,000.
Upon reaching that space, they buy the Small Dealer Workshop, which is the most expensive option still available, thus leaving them with $40,000. They then spin again.
This time, they spin a 1, and land on a Collect Space that reads "Win Lottery! Collect $50,000." However, the Yellow Team uses their other Collect Card against the Orange Team, forcing them to use their lone Exemption Card as a deterrent. At least the Yellow Team earned a $5,000 Part Card return on this turn, but the Orange Team's big bonus on the exact same turn left that team with $90,000.

It is now the Purple Team's turn. This time, they spin a 5, giving the Orange Team a $5,000 Part Card return and bringing their cash on hand to $95,000.
This takes them to the Premium Segment Choice space, making them the last team to do so. They then draw two of the remaining Premium Segment Cards as instructed.
Above, from top: The Purple Team draws the GT/Luxury Coupe Premium Segment card as their first of two options upon graduation, and decide not to give the less lucrative alternative (Premium Sedan/Wagon) a second thought.
Of the two cards they draw, they pick the GT/Luxury Coupe/Convertible over the Premium Sedan/Wagon due to its higher salary. They then spin again.
They spin a 9, which takes them past a Pay Day space and to the next one after it. After collecting their salary twice, they end their turn with $165,000, while the Red Team earns another $5,000 Part Card return. They end this turn as the last team to pick a Segment Card of any kind with which to start with - and hopefully hold on to as long as possible. However, they are guaranteed to be the last team to pay off their

As the last team to take a turn in each round, the Red Team is guaranteed to know what the opposition has done on their most recent turn. After taking stock of the situation, they spin a 7.
This takes them to the Buy a Starter Garage space. They choose to buy the Small 1-Car Detached Garage for $80,000, thus leaving them with $45,000.
They spin again, and narrowly avoid the first Join New Manufacturer space by spinning a 3. The space they land on reads "Buy flat-screen plasma TV. Pay $5,000." After making the requisite payment, they end their turn with $40,000.
Round 3 Summary: We almost had our first manufacturer change, but more significantly, everyone has a Segment Card of some sort in their possession. The Red, Blue, and Orange teams have bought a Starter Garage each; the other three teams will inevitably follow suit. The most recent turn ended without anyone receiving any Part Card returns, which is now a rare occurrence given that everyone has already bought such an item.
Turn 19 (Blue)

The Blue Team spins next, and spins a 5, giving the Orange Team a $5,000 Part Card return and leaving them with $100,000 for now.
As for the Blue Team, they pass a Pay Day space and collect their $100,000 salary, before landing on the first Lawsuit space on the board. They choose to sue the Orange Team for a further $100,000, and without an Exemption Card in that team's possession (given that they'd foolishly used it to counter a Collect Card from the Yellow Team), they're obliged to pay the Blue Team $100,000 - which comprises the entirety of their cash on hand. Thus, the Blue Team ends their turn with $290,000 to the Orange Team's $0, which puts them in a particularly vulnerable position with the Green Team guaranteed to reach the Hire a Test Driver space in this round, and the Purple Team also about to get there either in the exact same round, or the one after that.

The Yellow Team is next. They spin a 5, yielding a $5,000 Part Card return for the beleaguered Orange Team and leaving them with $5,000 - not a lot, but better than nothing.
As they pass the Pay Day + $10,000 Tune-Up space and collect their salary, they contemplate which Starter Garage is the best option to buy right now, ignoring any options that are already taken. When they actually reach the Buy a Starter Garage space, however, they buy the 2-Car Detached Garage for $120,000.
Now with $165,000 in their possession, they spin again. This time, the spinner lands on 9, yielding a $5,000 Part Card return for the Red Team.
The resulting spin takes the Yellow Team past a Pay Day space to a Collect Space that reads "Win the Ultimate Idol TV show! Collect $100,000." However, both the Blue and Purple Teams (which still have a Collect Card each) decide to use their respective Collect Cards against them, and have to spin the spinner once each to determine whose card gets used first. The Blue Team goes first and spins a 3.
The Purple Team also spins a 3, but tiebreaker rules force the first player who spun a number that matched another to go first, so the Blue Team siphons away $50,000 from the Yellow Team's account with the Collect Card they just used, while the Purple Team must wait for another time to use theirs. This leaves the Yellow and Blue Teams with $285,000 and $290,000 respectively.

The Green Team spins a 5, giving the Orange Team another Part Card return and leaving htem with $10,000.
The Green Team advances to the Hire Test Driver space immediately ahead of them and receives a Life Tile. They then spin for wedding gifts, and after spinning an 8, receive $10,000 from every other player.
This leaves the Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Orange, and Purple Teams with $35,000, $280,000, $275,000, $195,000, $0, and $160,000, respectively, due to the Purple Team receiving a $5,000 Part Card return. The Green Team then spins again and, after seeing the spinner land on 6, arrive at a Pay Day + $10,000 Tune-Up space, collecting their $50,000 salary in the process and ending their turn with $195,000.
Halfway through the fourth round, the Yellow Team has usurped the Orange Team as the Blue Team's main threat - but for how long? Time will tell.

The Orange Team, still at risk of incurring debt for the first time since the start of the game, spins a 1 and arrives at the first of four Join New Manufacturer spaces - a first for any player in this match!
As the Yellow Team receives a $5,000 Part Card return, the Orange Team draws the Subcompact Segment Card - the least lucrative card of them all, and thus the worst-case scenario for them.
This match has just been turned upside down - what seemed like an odds-on favorite to win it all looks like a long shot, but you'll never know until the game has ended.

The Purple Team spins a 6.
They proceed to the Hire a Test Driver space, but do not receive wedding gifts due to spinning a 1. They still earn a Life Tile, though, and the Yellow Team, relieved that the Orange Team is no longer a threat, earns a $5,000 Part Card return.
They then spin a 7, which takes them to a Service Due space via a Pay Day + $10,000 Tune-Up space.
After taking the service cost into account, they end their turn with $205,000.

They pass a Pay Day space en route to their destination - which is a Life Tile space that reads "Attend Hollywood movie premiere." They take a Life Tile for the third time in this game and end their turn with $120,000.
Round Summary: After the Orange Team's shocking misfortune, this match is starting to look increasingly like a two-horse race between the Blue and Yellow Teams, but it's too early to count anyone else out yet, especially since there are still 9 unclaimed Life Tiles left in the draw pile.

The Blue Team spins an 8 - this yields another $5,000 Part Card return for the Purple Team, leaving them with $210,000.
Upon reaching the Return to School space, they accept the offer and pay $50,000.
They then spin a 9 - enough to take them to the Change Career space. The Red Team also earns a $5,000 Part Card return.
Once there, they immediately refuse the offer to replace their current Segment Card with another one, and instead take $20,000 worth of Tune-Ups from the bank before spinning again.
This time, the spinner lands on 2, and they land on a Life Tile space that reads "Run for Congress!".
They end their turn with $230,000 and 5 Life Tiles, while the Green Team also earns a $5,000 Part Card return and now has $200,000.

The Yellow Team is next. They spin a 9, yielding a $5,000 Part Card return for the Red Team.
En route to the Spin to Win space on which they land, they pass a Pay Day space and collect $70,000 from it, thus leaving them with $350,000. The Yellow Team then chooses the following two numbers on which to wager $50,000 for Spin to Win after using their 2x Spin to Win Card:
In response, the Green Team nominates two numbers of their own, again with the help of their 2x Spin to Win card, and also wager $50,000:
Understandably, the Orange Team is unwilling to take the risk of entering a Spin to Win session, since can only wager $5,000 without incurring any debt, and without any Spin to Win Cards in their possession, they must choose exactly one number - but they do so anyway with a modest $5,000 wager:
With the help of their 4x Spin to Win Card, the Purple Team decides to pick four numbers on which to wager $50,000, as follows:
The Red Team, aided by a 2x Spin to Win Card, then picks two numbers over which to spread their $50,000 wager:
Last but not least, the Blue Team's 4x Spin to Win Card allows them to select four numbers for their $50,000 wager to target:
With all teams' numbers nominated for the first Spin to Win session of this game, the Yellow Team spins the spinner once, knowing full well that someone will walk away a lot richer - but who will they be?
The spinner lands on 4, so the Blue and Orange Teams win $500,000 and $50,000 respectively. The Blue Team now leads the pack by a huge margin, with $735,000 on hand after accounting for their newly acquired Part Card return; in addition, the Orange Team now has a more reasonable $55,000. None of the other teams won this round; instead, they lost $50,000 each. The Red, Yellow, Green, and Purple Teams thus end this turn with $75,000, $300,000, $150,000, and $160,000, respectively.

The Green Team spins a 7.
They advance to the Buy a Starter Garage Space and purchase the 3-Car Garage for $140,000, thus leaving them with $10,000.
Their next spin during this turn is a 1; this gives the Yellow Team a $5,000 Part Card return, and takes the Green Team to a Collect Space that reads "Win Lottery! Collect $50,000."
The Purple Team uses a Collect Card against them, but the Green Team absorbs the hit effortlessly with one of their two Exemption Cards, so the Green Team now has $60,000, while the Purple Team has $160,000.

The Purple Team spins a 5.
As the Orange Team receives another $5,000 Part Card return, to bring their total cash on hand to $80,000, the Purple Team reaches the Buy a Starter Garage space.
Out of necessity, they buy the Medium Detached Garage for $100,000, thus leaving them with $60,000. They then pay off $50,000 of their debt, leaving them with $75,000 to pay back, but they now have only $10,000 left over.
To conclude their turn, they spin a 2. This takes them to the Join New Manufacturer space, and they draw the Compact Segment Card to replace their previous one.
The Green Team, meanwhile, earned $5,000 from their Part Card as a result of this spin, and now has $65,000.

The Red Team spins a 6.
This takes them past a Pay Day space and to the second of two Join New Manufacturer spaces on the board - the Purple Team just landed on the first such space. The Red Team draws the Midsize Sedan/Wagon Segment Card to replace their current one - but not before collecting their $80,000 salary.
The Red Team ends their turn with $155,000, but their new Segment Card is far less lucrative than their original one.
Round Summary: Two teams (Red and Purple) have lost their original Segment Cards in favor of lower-paying ones, while the Blue Team has padded their lead through Spin to Win. How long can they hold on to it? We'll find out soon enough. Moreover, every team has BASHed (Bought A Starter Home) by now - it's only taken 5 rounds for the game to reach that state - but some of these teams may well be regretting their purchase decisions by now, or at least very soon.

The Blue Team, now relieved of the need to keep an eye on the Red Team (for now), leads off the round with a spin of 6.
This takes them to a Lawsuit space, and they choose to sue the Red Team for $100,000 - which the Red Team must give to the Blue Team due to their lack of Exemption Cards. Since the Blue Team also collected their $120,000 salary on this turn from passing a Pay Day space, they end this turn with $955,000 compared to the Red Team's paltry $55,000. This also marks the second time in this game that the Blue Team has won a lawsuit.

The Yellow Team spins a 1 and earns $5,000 from their Part Card, thus leaving them with $310,000.
With the Red Team already occupying the Join New Manufacturer space ahead of them, the Yellow Team must immediately advance to the Return to School space.
They choose to pay $50,000, thus leaving them with $260,000, before spinning a 5.
This takes them to a Life Tile space that reads "Join Honor Society". They end their turn with 2 Life Tiles. In addition, the Orange Team earned $5,000 from their Long-Term Investment and now has $80,000.

The Green Team spins an 8.
As the Purple Team receives $5,000 from their Part Card, the Green Team passes a Pay Day space en route to the Collect Space that reads "Win the Ultimate Idol TV show! Collect $100,000." This time, however, there is nobody else who can spoil the fun with a Collect Card - because nobody, not even them, has such an item in their possession. As such, the Green Team ends their turn with $225,000.

| Purple | 45 | Compact (30) | 2 | None | Medium Detached Garage (125) | 0/0 | 75 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (40) |
Still recovering from their recent job downgrade, the Red Team spins a 3.
Although they could theoretically return to school without going into debt, they choose to play it safe by continuing on the Path of Life. (Had they taken the plunge, there is a small chance, but a chance nonetheless, that they would've incurred some debt even before graduation - and on this occasion, it was enough to put them off).
For their second spin of the turn, they get a 7.
They pass a Pay Day + $10,000 Tune-Up space en route to a Service Due space. After paying for service, they now have $80,000.
Round Summary: The Blue Team is still pulling away thanks to a recent successful Lawsuit attempt, but the Yellow and Green Teams haven't entirely given up all hope. Nor, for that matter, have the other three teams (Red, Orange, and Purple), given that there's still time for the opposition to catch up.
Turn 37 (Blue)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |

| Purple | 45 | Compact (30) | 2 | None | Medium Detached Garage (125) | 0/0 | 75 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (40) |
The Blue Team spins a 7 to kick off the round.
This sends them past a Pay Day + $10,000 Tune-Up space and on to a Lawsuit space. As they did when they first reached a Lawsuit space, they sue the Orange Team for $100,000 - and once again, they are successful. This leaves the Blue Team with $1,075,000, while the Orange Team has $0 to spare.
Turn 38 (Yellow)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red | 80 | Midsize Sedan/Wagon (40) | 3 | 1 (1x S2) | Small 1-Car Garage (100) | 0/0 | 0 | 9 (Lights and Accessories) (30) |
| Blue | 1075 | Supercar (130) | 5 | 1 (1x Ex) | 5-Car Deluxe Garage (225) | 0/0 | 0 | 4 (Suspension, Wheels & Tires) (10) |
| Yellow | 260 | Sports Car (70) | 2 | 1 (1x P) | 2-Car Detached Garage (150) | 0/0 | 0 | 1 (Engine/Exhaust) (25) |
| Green | 225 | Muscle/Pony Car (60) | 2 | 1 (1x Ex) | 3-Car Garage (175) | 0/0 | 0 | 2 (Gearbox & Drivetrain) (25) |

| Purple | 45 | Compact (30) | 2 | None | Medium Detached Garage (125) | 0/0 | 75 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (40) |
The Yellow Team spins a 4 and advances to the Change Career space.
The Blue Team receives $5,000 from their Part Card, but at the same time, the Yellow Team must decide whether or not to change careers. After a brief deliberation, they decline the offer in favor of $20,000 in Tune-Ups.
The Yellow Team then spins an 8, passing a Pay Day space en route to the Lawsuit space the Blue Team just vacated.
They target the Red Team, forcing it to borrow $20,000 (resulting in a total debt of $25,000 including interest) to cover the resulting payment, thus leaving them with $0 while the Yellow Team now has $450,000. In addition, the Purple Team received $5,000 from their Part Card and now has $50,000.
Turn 39 (Green)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red | 0 | Midsize Sedan/Wagon (40) | 3 | 1 (1x S2) | Small 1-Car Garage (100) | 0/0 | 25 | 9 (Lights and Accessories) (30) |
| Blue | 1075 | Supercar (130) | 5 | 1 (1x Ex) | 5-Car Deluxe Garage (225) | 0/0 | 0 | 4 (Suspension, Wheels & Tires) (15) |
| Yellow | 450 | Sports Car (90) | 2 | 1 (1x P) | 2-Car Detached Garage (150) | 0/0 | 0 | 1 (Engine/Exhaust) (25) |
| Green | 225 | Muscle/Pony Car (60) | 2 | 1 (1x Ex) | 3-Car Garage (175) | 0/0 | 0 | 2 (Gearbox & Drivetrain) (25) |
| Orange | 0 | Subcompact (20) | 2 | 1 (1x P) | Small Dealer Workshop (200) | 0/0 | 0 | 5 (Aerodynamics) (35) |
| Purple | 50 | Compact (30) | 2 | None | Medium Detached Garage (125) | 0/0 | 75 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (50) |
The Green Team spins a 3.
They arrive at the Life Tile space that reads "Attend Hollywood Movie Premiere." Their inventory now has 3 Life Tiles.
Turn 40 (Orange)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red | 0 | Midsize Sedan/Wagon (40) | 3 | 1 (1x S2) | Small 1-Car Garage (100) | 0/0 | 25 | 9 (Lights and Accessories) (30) |
| Blue | 1075 | Supercar (130) | 5 | 1 (1x Ex) | 5-Car Deluxe Garage (225) | 0/0 | 0 | 4 (Suspension, Wheels & Tires) (15) |
| Yellow | 450 | Sports Car (90) | 2 | 1 (1x P) | 2-Car Detached Garage (150) | 0/0 | 0 | 1 (Engine/Exhaust) (25) |
| Green | 225 | Muscle/Pony Car (60) | 3 | 1 (1x Ex) | 3-Car Garage (175) | 0/0 | 0 | 2 (Gearbox & Drivetrain) (25) |
| Orange | 0 | Subcompact (20) | 2 | 1 (1x P) | Small Dealer Workshop (200) | 0/0 | 0 | 5 (Aerodynamics) (35) |
| Purple | 50 | Compact (30) | 2 | None | Medium Detached Garage (125) | 0/0 | 75 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (50) |
The Orange Team spins a 7.
They reach the Return to School space, but politely decline the offer due to lack of funds, and spin again.
This time, the spinner lands on 1.
They land on a Pay Space that reads "House flooded. Pay $40,000." They immediately use their Pay Card against the Green Team, but it has no effect due to the Green Team still having an Exemption Card. As such, the Orange Team must borrow $40,000 from the bank, for a total debt of $50,000 (including interest), just to cover the full-price payment, which leaves them with $0. The Yellow Team, on the other hand, received $5,000 from their Part Card and now has $455,000.
Turn 41 (Purple)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red | 0 | Midsize Sedan/Wagon (40) | 3 | 1 (1x S2) | Small 1-Car Garage (100) | 0/0 | 25 | 9 (Lights and Accessories) (30) |
| Blue | 1075 | Supercar (130) | 5 | 1 (1x Ex) | 5-Car Deluxe Garage (225) | 0/0 | 0 | 4 (Suspension, Wheels & Tires) (15) |
| Yellow | 455 | Sports Car (90) | 2 | 1 (1x P) | 2-Car Detached Garage (150) | 0/0 | 0 | 1 (Engine/Exhaust) (25) |
| Green | 225 | Muscle/Pony Car (60) | 3 | None | 3-Car Garage (175) | 0/0 | 0 | 2 (Gearbox & Drivetrain) (25) |
| Orange | 0 | Subcompact (20) | 2 | None | Small Dealer Workshop (200) | 0/0 | 50 | 5 (Aerodynamics) (35) |
| Purple | 50 | Compact (30) | 2 | None | Medium Detached Garage (125) | 0/0 | 75 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (50) |
The Purple Team pays off $50,000 in debt, leaving them with $0 on hand and $25,000 left to pay back. They then spin a 9.
The Red Team earns $5,000 from their Part Card on this spin, while the Purple Team proceeds to a Lawsuit space via a Pay Day space and collects their salary. They choose to sue the Blue Team, but it proves unsuccessful due to the Blue Team using an Exemption Card. The Purple Team thus ends their turn with just $30,000, while the Red Team begins their next turn with $5,000.
Turn 42 (Red)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red | 5 | Midsize Sedan/Wagon (40) | 3 | 1 (1x S2) | Small 1-Car Garage (100) | 0/0 | 25 | 9 (Lights and Accessories) (30) |
| Blue | 1075 | Supercar (130) | 5 | None | 5-Car Deluxe Garage (225) | 0/0 | 0 | 4 (Suspension, Wheels & Tires) (15) |
| Yellow | 455 | Sports Car (90) | 2 | 1 (1x P) | 2-Car Detached Garage (150) | 0/0 | 0 | 1 (Engine/Exhaust) (25) |
| Green | 225 | Muscle/Pony Car (60) | 3 | None | 3-Car Garage (175) | 0/0 | 0 | 2 (Gearbox & Drivetrain) (25) |
| Orange | 0 | Subcompact (20) | 2 | None | Small Dealer Workshop (200) | 0/0 | 50 | 5 (Aerodynamics) (35) |
| Purple | 30 | Compact (30) | 2 | None | Medium Detached Garage (125) | 0/0 | 25 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (50) |
The Red Team spins a 10.
This takes them past a Pay Day space and onto another one - which turns out to be a Pay Day + $10,000 Tune-Up space. They now have $95,000.
Round Summary: The Blue Team (the only one that still has a Premium Segment Card) has only two real rivals left (the Green and Yellow Teams, both of whom are massively trailing right now), while the Red, Orange, and Purple Teams are all in debt at once for the first time in several rounds. There are no Exemption Cards left in play for anyone to use right now, though, although there is still a chance someone will claim one of them before the end of the game. However, there are only seven Life Tiles left in the draw pile, and at the rate those are being claimed, a shortage is on the horizon.
Turn 43 (Blue)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |

| Purple | 30 | Compact (30) | 2 | None | Medium Detached Garage (125) | 0/0 | 25 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (50) |
The Blue Team spins a 5.
They pass a Pay Day space and the Join New Manufacturer space immediately after it, before landing on a Take a Share the Wealth Card space.
They draw an Exemption Card from the pile and end their turn with $1,205,000. The Orange Team also earns $5,000 from their Part Card, but that's all that team has for now.
Turn 44 (Yellow)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red | 95 | Midsize Sedan/Wagon (50) | 3 | 1 (1x S2) | Small 1-Car Garage (100) | 0/0 | 25 | 9 (Lights and Accessories) (30) |
| Blue | 1205 | Supercar (130) | 5 | 1 (1x Ex) | 5-Car Deluxe Garage (225) | 0/0 | 0 | 4 (Suspension, Wheels & Tires) (15) |
| Yellow | 455 | Sports Car (90) | 2 | 1 (1x P) | 2-Car Detached Garage (150) | 0/0 | 0 | 1 (Engine/Exhaust) (25) |

| Purple | 30 | Compact (30) | 2 | None | Medium Detached Garage (125) | 0/0 | 25 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (50) |
The Yellow Team spins a 6.
They proceed to a Life Tile space that reads "Donate to African orphans. Pay $40,000." They also collect their salary from a Pay Day + $10,000 Tune-Up space. They use their Pay Card against the Blue Team, whose newly acquired Exemption Card negates its effects. After all that, they end their turn with $505,000 - less than half of what the Blue Team has on hand right now, but still comfortably ahead of the Green Team.
Turn 45 (Green)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

| Green | 225 | Muscle/Pony Car (60) | 3 | None | 3-Car Garage (175) | 0/0 | 0 | 2 (Gearbox & Drivetrain) (25) |
| Orange | 5 | Subcompact (20) | 2 | None | Small Dealer Workshop (200) | 0/0 | 50 | 5 (Aerodynamics) (40) |
| Purple | 30 | Compact (30) | 2 | None | Medium Detached Garage (125) | 0/0 | 25 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (50) |
The Green Team spins a 5.
In doing so, they advance past a Pay Day space (collecting their $80,000 salary in the process) and land on a Lawsuit space. They target the Blue Team, and without an Exemption Card to protect them, the Green Team collects $100,000 from them, thus ending their turn with $385,000 to the Blue Team's 1,105,000. In addition, the Orange Team gained $5,000 from their Part Card.
Turn 46 (Orange)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |

| Purple | 30 | Compact (30) | 2 | None | Medium Detached Garage (125) | 0/0 | 25 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (50) |
The Orange Team spins a 9.
They pass a Pay Day + $10,000 Tune-Up space on this turn, and land on a Pay Day space to end their turn. They therefore end this turn with $60,000, while the Red Team earns $5,000 from their Part Card and now has $100,000.
Turn 47 (Purple)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |

| Orange | 60 | Subcompact (30) | 2 | None | Small Dealer Workshop (200) | 0/0 | 50 | 5 (Aerodynamics) (45) |
| Purple | 30 | Compact (30) | 2 | None | Medium Detached Garage (125) | 0/0 | 25 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (50) |
The Purple Team pays off their $25,000 debt, leaving them with just $5,000, and spins a 6.
Unwilling to incur debt again, they continue on the Path of Life instead of returning to school.
The Purple Team spins again, and this time the spinner lands on 4.
As the Blue Team earns $5,000 from their Part Card (thus leaving them with $1,110,000), the Purple Team passes a Pay Day + $10,000 Tune-Up space and lands on a Life Tile space that reads "Coach children's sports team." After collecting their salary, the Purple Team now has $35,000 in addition to 3 Life Tiles.
Turn 48 (Red)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red | 100 | Midsize Sedan/Wagon (50) | 3 | 1 (1x S2) | Small 1-Car Garage (100) | 0/0 | 25 | 9 (Lights and Accessories) (35) |

| Yellow | 505 | Sports Car (100) | 3 | None | 2-Car Detached Garage (150) | 0/0 | 0 | 1 (Engine/Exhaust) (25) |
| Green | 385 | Muscle/Pony Car (60) | 3 | None | 3-Car Garage (175) | 0/0 | 0 | 2 (Gearbox & Drivetrain) (25) |

| Purple | 35 | Compact (40) | 3 | None | Medium Detached Garage (125) | 0/0 | 0 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (50) |
The Red Team also begins this turn by paying off their debt and now has $75,000. They also spin a 4.
With the Yellow Team occupying the space they would've landed on, the Red Team advances to the nearest unoccupied space - which turns out to be a Lawsuit space. They immediately sue the Blue Team for $100,000 and now have $175,000 to the Blue Team's $1,015,000 due to the latter earning $5,000 from their Part Card for the second straight turn.
Round Summary: It's taken eight rounds, but the Blue Team has finally fallen victim to the dreaded lawsuit, not once, but twice. There is still a sizable buffer between the Blue and Yellow Teams, and the Green Team is closer to the Yellow Team than the Yellow Team is to the Blue Team. The Orange Team is now the only one still in debt, but hopefully not for long. And of the 22 Life Tiles in the draw pile, only three remain unclaimed as of now.
Turn 49 (Blue)

| Purple | 35 | Compact (40) | 3 | None | Medium Detached Garage (125) | 0/0 | 0 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (50) |
The Blue Team spins a 6 and advances to another Orange Space, where they must choose whether or not to take the Family Path where additional Life Tiles are more likely to be earned by landing on Gain a Fan spaces.
However, the Blue Team ignores the option and stays on the Path of Life, where an additional Tune-Up will be given.
And so they spin again, with the spinner landing on 10.
They pass a Pay Day + $10,000 Tune-Up space and a normal Pay Day space, before landing on a Lawsuit space and reclaiming $100,000 from the Red Team that sued them on the previous turn. They now have $1,385,000.
Turn 50 (Yellow)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |

| Purple | 35 | Compact (40) | 3 | None | Medium Detached Garage (125) | 0/0 | 0 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (50) |
The Yellow Team also spins a 10 and advances past a Pay Day space to the Take the Family Path space.
As with the Blue Team, the Yellow Team spurns the Family Path in favor of the Path of Life.
The Yellow Team then spins a 6.
They advance past a Pay Day + $10,000 Tune-Up space and land on a Collect Space that reads "Find buried treasure! Collect $500,000." With no opponents to spoil the fun with Collect Cards, the Yellow Team pockets the $500,000 bonus along with their salary. They now have $1,105,000 in their possession.

The Green Team also spins a 6.
They arrive at the Return to School space and immediately pay $50,000 to level up their career.
Still with $335,000 in their pocket, the Green Team spins again.
They spin an 8, giving the Purple Team a Part Card return worth $5,000, bringing that team's total to $40,000. However, this also takes the Green Team to the Change Career space.
They are not interested in a career change and instead take the $20,000 Tune-Up. They then spin another 8 and pass a Pay Day space en route to a Lawsuit space. They sue the Blue Team for $100,000 and, after collecting their salary, end their turn with $515,000 to the Blue Team's $1,285,000. The Purple Team also earned a $5,000 Part Card return and now have $45,000.
Turn 52 (Orange)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

| Purple | 45 | Compact (40) | 3 | None | Medium Detached Garage (125) | 0/0 | 0 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (60) |
The Orange Team pays off their debt, leaving them with $10,000. They then spin a 10.
They pass a Pay Day + $10,000 Tune-Up space and arrive at a Pay Space that reads "Sports camp for the fans. Pay $5,000 per fan." However, they have nothing to pay, since they don't have any fans yet, and end their turn with $40,000.
Turn 53 (Purple)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red | 75 | Midsize Sedan/Wagon (50) | 3 | 1 (1x S2) | Small 1-Car Garage (100) | 0/0 | 0 | 9 (Lights and Accessories) (35) |
| Blue | 1285 | Supercar (140) | 5 | None | 5-Car Deluxe Garage (225) | 0/0 | 0 | 4 (Suspension, Wheels & Tires) (25) |

| Purple | 45 | Compact (40) | 3 | None | Medium Detached Garage (125) | 0/0 | 0 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (60) |
The Purple Team spins a 5.
The Orange Team receives $5,000 from their Part Card and now has $45,000, matching the Purple Team, which lands on a Life Tile space that reads "Run for Congress!" This gives the Purple Team a total of four Life Tiles so far. However, this leaves just two Life Tiles (from an initial pool of 22) in the draw pile.
Turn 54 (Red)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red | 75 | Midsize Sedan/Wagon (50) | 3 | 1 (1x S2) | Small 1-Car Garage (100) | 0/0 | 0 | 9 (Lights and Accessories) (35) |
| Blue | 1285 | Supercar (140) | 5 | None | 5-Car Deluxe Garage (225) | 0/0 | 0 | 4 (Suspension, Wheels & Tires) (25) |
| Yellow | 1105 | Sports Car (110) | 3 | None | 2-Car Detached Garage (150) | 0/0 | 0 | 1 (Engine/Exhaust) (25) |
| Green | 515 | Muscle/Pony Car (80) | 3 | None | 3-Car Garage (175) | 0/0 | 0 | 2 (Gearbox & Drivetrain) (25) |
| Orange | 45 | Subcompact (40) | 2 | None | Small Dealer Workshop (200) | 0/0 | 0 | 5 (Aerodynamics) (50) |
| Purple | 45 | Compact (40) | 4 | None | Medium Detached Garage (125) | 0/0 | 0 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (60) |
The Red Team concludes this round by spinning a 2.
This yields $5,000 in Part Card returns for the Green Team, which now has $520,000, but the Red Team is less fortunate, as the spin takes them to a Pay Space that reads "Buy an SUV. Pay $40,000." After making the payment, they now have $35,000.
Round Summary: While the Orange Team is entirely debt-free once again, the Yellow Team has closed the gap to the Blue Team, with the help of a lawsuit against the Blue Team filed by the Green Team, which is itself starting to emerge as a legitimate contender. Unfortunately, the same is most definitely not true of any other team, so it's shaping up to be a three-horse race between the Blue, Yellow, and Green Teams.
Turn 55 (Blue)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red | 35 | Midsize Sedan/Wagon (50) | 3 | 1 (1x S2) | Small 1-Car Garage (100) | 0/0 | 0 | 9 (Lights and Accessories) (35) |
| Blue | 1285 | Supercar (140) | 5 | None | 5-Car Deluxe Garage (225) | 0/0 | 0 | 4 (Suspension, Wheels & Tires) (25) |
| Yellow | 1105 | Sports Car (110) | 3 | None | 2-Car Detached Garage (150) | 0/0 | 0 | 1 (Engine/Exhaust) (25) |

| Orange | 45 | Subcompact (40) | 2 | None | Small Dealer Workshop (200) | 0/0 | 0 | 5 (Aerodynamics) (50) |
| Purple | 45 | Compact (40) | 4 | None | Medium Detached Garage (125) | 0/0 | 0 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (60) |
The Blue Team spins a 7.
They reach the Buy a Super Garage space on this turn and accept the offer.
They buy the Grand Prix Circuit for $800,000, trading in their 5-Car Deluxe Garage for $200,000 in the process.
As a result, they now have $685,000 on hand by the time they spin again.
The spinner lands on 1, which takes them to a Pay Space that reads "Earthquake hits house! Pay $125,000." The resulting mega-payment leaves them with $560,000. In addition, the Yellow Team ends their turn with $1,110,000 due to the spin causing their Part Card to yield $50,000.
Turn 56 (Yellow)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red | 35 | Midsize Sedan/Wagon (50) | 3 | 1 (1x S2) | Small 1-Car Garage (100) | 0/0 | 0 | 9 (Lights and Accessories) (35) |
| Blue | 560 | Supercar (140) | 5 | None | Grand Prix Circuit (1000) | 0/0 | 0 | 4 (Suspension, Wheels & Tires) (25) |
| Yellow | 1110 | Sports Car (110) | 3 | None | 2-Car Detached Garage (150) | 0/0 | 0 | 1 (Engine/Exhaust) (30) |
| Green | 520 | Muscle/Pony Car (80) | 3 | None | 3-Car Garage (175) | 0/0 | 0 | 2 (Gearbox & Drivetrain) (30) |
| Orange | 45 | Subcompact (40) | 2 | None | Small Dealer Workshop (200) | 0/0 | 0 | 5 (Aerodynamics) (50) |
| Purple | 45 | Compact (40) | 4 | None | Medium Detached Garage (125) | 0/0 | 0 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (60) |
The Yellow Team spins a 10.
Due to this spin taking them past a Pay Day space en route to the Buy a Super Garage space, they have $1,220,000 on which to buy a Super Garage - and indeed they do.
With the Grand Prix Circuit already sold to the Blue Team, the Yellow Team picks the Luxury Super Dealer - the next most lucrative option available.
They therefore begin their second spin of this turn with $560,000, matching the Blue Team exactly (although they still lag behind on property value). They then spin a 6.
This takes them past another Pay Day space and to a Lawsuit space. They then sue the Blue Team successfully for $100,000, leaving them with just $460,000 to the Yellow Team's $770,000. This puts the Yellow Team ahead in terms of overall net worth (excluding Life Tiles) for the first time in several rounds.
Turn 57 (Green)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red | 35 | Midsize Sedan/Wagon (50) | 3 | 1 (1x S2) | Small 1-Car Garage (100) | 0/0 | 0 | 9 (Lights and Accessories) (35) |
| Blue | 460 | Supercar (140) | 5 | None | Grand Prix Circuit (1000) | 0/0 | 0 | 4 (Suspension, Wheels & Tires) (25) |
| Yellow | 770 | Sports Car (110) | 3 | None | Luxury Super Dealer (875) | 0/0 | 0 | 1 (Engine/Exhaust) (30) |
| Green | 520 | Muscle/Pony Car (80) | 3 | None | 3-Car Garage (175) | 0/0 | 0 | 2 (Gearbox & Drivetrain) (30) |
| Orange | 45 | Subcompact (40) | 2 | None | Small Dealer Workshop (200) | 0/0 | 0 | 5 (Aerodynamics) (50) |
| Purple | 45 | Compact (40) | 4 | None | Medium Detached Garage (125) | 0/0 | 0 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (60) |
The Green Team spins a 7.
It's enough to send them past a Pay Day + $10,000 Tune-Up space and all the way to another Lawsuit space. They target the Yellow Team and collect $100,000, thus leaving them with a mere $670,000 to the Green Team's $700,000 - but the Green Team hasn't bought a Super Garage yet, unlike the Blue and Yellow Teams. However, this means that the teams' Life Tile-independent net worth calculations now put the Blue Team ahead, albeit by just $15,000. Also, the Yellow Team has passed one more Pay Day space than the Blue Team has.
Turn 58 (Orange)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

| Purple | 45 | Compact (40) | 4 | None | Medium Detached Garage (125) | 0/0 | 0 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (60) |
The Orange team spins a 1.
The Yellow Team therefore earns $5,000 from their Part Card and now has $675,000. However, the Orange Team advances to a Life Tile space that reads "Donate to African Orphans. Pay $40,000." This leaves them with $5,000 and 3 Life Tiles - there is now only one Life Tile left in the draw pile.
Turn 59 (Purple)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

| Orange | 5 | Subcompact (40) | 3 | None | Small Dealer Workshop (200) | 0/0 | 0 | 5 (Aerodynamics) (50) |
| Purple | 45 | Compact (40) | 4 | None | Medium Detached Garage (125) | 0/0 | 0 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (60) |
The Purple Team spins a 2, granting the Green Team $5,000 from their Part Card.
They pass a Pay Day space en route to a Gain a Fan space, which yields a Life Tile (the last one in the Draw Pile) and $5,000 from every other Team. The net effect of all this is that the Purple Team has $110,000; the Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, and Orange teams end this turn with $30,000, $455,000, $670,000, $700,000, and $0 respectively.
Turn 60 (Red)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |

| Purple | 110 | Compact (40) | 5 | None | Medium Detached Garage (125) | 1/0 | 0 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (60) |
The Red Team spins a 3.
They pass a Pay Day space and land on a Take a Share the Wealth Card space.
After taking a Collect Card from the Share the Wealth Card deck and collecting their $50,000 salary from the bank, they now have $80,000.
Round Summary: It's taken until this round for any team to earn a Fan, but the Purple Team is the first one to do so. In doing so, they've emptied the draw pile and forced anyone who collects a Life Tile from this point onward to cannibalize an opponent's inventory, if possible. Also, the Blue and Yellow Teams are neck and neck after both of them traded up to Super Garages.

The Blue Team spins a 4.
They earn $5,000 from their Part Card and advance via a Pay Day space to a Pay Space that reads "College. Pay $5,000 per fan." They do not need to make a payment, though, since they never gained any fans. As such, they end their turn with $600,000.

| Purple | 110 | Compact (40) | 5 | None | Medium Detached Garage (125) | 1/0 | 0 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (60) |
The Yellow Team spins an 8.
The Purple Team earns $5,000 from their Part Card and now has $115,000. Meanwhile, the Yellow Team advances past a Pay Card + $10,000 Tune-Up space and arrives at the last Orange Space on the board with $780,000.
They ignore the longer Risky Path of Life in favor of the shorter Safe Path of Life (where they have a better chance of earning Life Tiles) and spin a 4.
The Blue Team also earns $5,000 from their Part Card on this turn and now has $605,000. The Yellow Team then arrives at a Life Tile space that reads "Visit old soldier's home." They decide to claim one of the Purple Team's Life Tiles, which leaves both teams with 4 Life Tiles each. In addition, the Yellow Team ends their turn with $900,000 after passing a Pay Day space on their second spin.

The Green Team spins a 9. This yields an extra $5,000 for the Red Team via their part card, bumping up their cash on hand to $85,000.
This sends the Green Team to an Orange space that conceals a fork that leads to either the Family Path or the main Path of Life.
After a brief pause, they decline the offer and stay on the Path of Life.
They pass a Pay Day + $10,000 Tune-Up space and collect their salary, before landing on a Life Tile space that reads "Learn CPR." They take one of the Purple Team's Life Tiles, which leaves both teams with four each. The Green Team also ends their turn with $790,000.

Immediately, the Red Team uses their newly acquired Collect Card against them, and receives a $50,000 cut of the winnings, for a new sum of $135,000. The Orange Team thus ends their turn with just $90,000.

The Purple Team also spins a 7.
They pass a Pay Day + $10,000 Tune-Up space and land on a Life Tile space that reads "Visit Grand Canyon." They collect a Life Tile from the Blue Team, thus leaving both teams with 4 Life Tiles each. After collecting their salary, the Purple Team now has $150,000.
Turn 66 (Red)

The Red Team spins a 7, becoming the third team in a row to do so at any point in their turn.
They reach the Take the Family Path space and decide to take it instead of staying on the Path of Life.
Their next spin is a 1, thus giving the Yellow Team $5,000 thanks to their Part Card.
They arrive at a Life Tile space that reads "Gain a Fan!" They thus collect $5,000 from every other player. They end their turn with $160,000; the Blue, Yellow, Green, Orange, and Purple Teams now have $600,000, $900,000, $785,000, $85,000, and $145,000 respectively. The Red Team also takes a Life Tile from the Purple Team, leaving them with three of those to the Red Team's four.
Round Summary: The Yellow and Blue Teams are still locked in an intense battle for the lead, but the Green Team is still catching up to them. There's also a close battle for fourth between the Red, Orange, and Purple Teams to avoid the dreaded wooden spoon. Also, the Red Team has parlayed their timely use of their newly acquired Collect Card and acquisition of a Life Tile from a close rival through a Gain a Fan space to reinforce their claim to "best of the rest".
Turn 67 (Blue)

The Blue Team spins a 7 - this is the fourth consecutive turn in which anyone has done so. They pass a Pay Day + $10,000 Tune-Up space and collect their salary.
At the last orange space, the Blue Team decides to take the Risky Path of Life, which is longer but potentially more lucrative.
They then spin a 6 and collect their further reinforced salary - the second time this turn that they have done so.
They end their turn at a Spin to Win space and end their turn with $890,000, since they choose not to Spin to Win. In fact, every team other than the Red Team (which has a 2x Spin to Win card) refuses to do so. The Red Team uses their last Share the Wealth Card - a 2x Spin To Win card as previously stated - and selects two numbers.
The Red Team picks 2 and 3 before they Spin to Win. They wager $50,000, but lose it due to the spinner landing on 6.
This leaves the Red Team with $110,000.

The Yellow Team spins a 6.
They pass a Pay Day space en route to a Life Tile space that reads "Host family reunion." They decide to take a Life Tile from the Red Team, leaving them with three Life Tiles to the Yellow Team's four. In addition, the Yellow Team now has $1,020,000 after collecting their salary.

The Green Team spins a 10.
They pass a Pay Day space and collect their salary, thus giving them $885,000 with which to buy a Super Garage (if they choose to do so).
Predictably, they take the plunge and sell off their current Starter Home - a 3-Car Garage with a resale value of $175,000 - to buy the Private Test Track for $600,000.
They now have $360,000 with which to spend things on before they spin again. This time, the spinner lands on 4.
The Blue Team earns $5,000 from their Part Card (thus giving them $895,000) and the Green Team passes a Pay Day space en route to a Collect Space that reads "Write best-selling book. Collect $200,000." The combined effect of this and the salary they collected from the Pay Day space they'd just passed gives them $660,000 at the end of their turn.

They ignore the Family Path in favor of the Path of Life.
They then spin a 5, passing a Pay Day + $10,000 Tune-Up space in the process, and earn $5,000 from their Part Card. This makes them the first team to max out their salary.
By the time they end their turn on a Spin to Win space, they now have $130,000. However, they choose not to wager it on Spin to Win - and nor does anyone else, for that matter.

Round Summary: The net worth gap between the top two (and to a slightly lesser extent, the top three) teams has shrunk considerably. It's now more likely than ever that there will be a three-way battle for the lead. Meanwhile, the Purple Team is pulling ahead of the Red and Orange Teams in the race for fourth and best of the rest.

At the same time, the Blue Team passes a Pay Day space and reaches the Life Tile space the Yellow Team is currently occupying, before arriving at the next unoccupied space. This one is another Life Tile space; in fact, it's one of three that reads "You're a grandparent!" The Red Team earns $5,000 from their Part Card as a result; they now have $140,000. The Purple Team then chooses to take the Family Path.
They end their turn by spinning a 1.
In doing so, they land on a Life Tile space that reads "Gain a Fan!" They receive $5,000 in gifts from every other player - including the Red Team, whose turn is up next after having just received $5,000 from their Part Card to negate their donation to the Purple Team. As a cheeky act of spite, the Purple Team even takes one of the Red Team's four Life Tiles and adds it to their own, giving the Purple Team four Life Tiles to the Red Team's three. Thus, the Purple Team ends their turn with $330,000; the Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, and Orange Teams now have $135,000, $740,000, $1,010,000, $960,000, and $275,000, respectively.

Meanwhile, the Red Team advances past a Pay Day space (collecting their $50,000 salary in the process) and arrives at a Collect Space that reads "Win Nobel Prize! Collect $100,000." The Red Team thus ends their turn with $285,000.
Round Summary: The Yellow Team snatched the lead from the Blue Team with a lawsuit, only to hand it right back to them after they got sued themselves by an unexpected third party (which turned out to be the Orange Team). This puts the Green Team closer to the lead than expected, what with the rapid progress they've been making so far.

As the Blue Team strolls past a Pay Day + $10,000 Tune-Up space and collect their salary, they ponder whose inventory they should cannibalize next - and sure enough, that's exactly what they have to do when they end their turn on a Life Tile space. This one, like the one they arrived at on their previous turn, reads "You're a grandparent!" They take a Life Tile from the Purple Team, which now has three Life Tiles to the Blue Team's five; the Blue Team now has $890,000 by the end of what could (and should) be their penultimate turn before retirement.

They sell their Small Dealer Workshop for $200,000 and have $480,000 on which to buy a Super Garage.
They buy the 10-Car Deluxe Workshop for $400,000, and now have $80,000 to spare when they resume their turn.

Turn 84 (Red)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |

The Red Team spins a 7.
They reach the Buy a Better Garage space and sell off their Small 1-Car Garage for $100, leaving them with $390,000 on which to buy a Super Garage.
As they accept the offer, they realize that the 6-Car Workshop is the only available option that won't incur any debt, so they take it and, after buying it for $300,000, are left with $90,000.
The Red Team then spins a 3.
They pass a Pay Day space before landing on a Service Due space. The combined effects of the salary ($50,000) and service ($10,000) gives them $130,000 by the end of this turn.
Round Summary: The Yellow Team has hit a setback late in the game, giving the Blue Team a chance to strengthen their claim to the lead - but the Green Team has caught up to both of them. Which of these three will finish this game as the overall winner, and which one of the Red, Orange, and Purple Teams will be best of the rest? We'll find out in a few rounds from now.

They buy the Main Dealership Outlet (the only unsold Super Garage) for $500,000 and now have $55,000.
The Purple Team spins another 7.
They pass a Pay Day space and collect their $50,000 salary; however, $30,000 of it gets paid straight back to the bank shortly afterwards, since they landed on a Pay Space that reads "Buy sailboat. Pay $30,000." They must therefore be content with $75,000 at the end of this turn.

They arrive at a Lawsuit space and decide to sue the Green Team for $100,000, thus giving the Red Team $230,000 to the Green Team's $1,090,000.
Round Summary: Surprisingly, even after 15 rounds, no teams have retired yet, even though the Super Garage has sold out. With the Yellow and Green Teams starting to slip up, it looks like the Blue Team will eventually coast to a comfortable victory - but on the other hand, we could have a much closer finish instead, and it may even be decided by Life Tile values.

In doing so, the Blue Team becomes the first to retire, and are tempted by the offer to retire at Millionaire Estates, where, as one of the first three players to retire there, they will receive an additional Life Tile upon retirement.
They retire at Millionaire Estates with $2,110,000 and 5 Life Tiles after selling off their Grand Prix Circuit for $1,000,000.

The Yellow Team spins a 3.
They pass a Pay Day space, collect their $130,000 salary, and arrive at the same Pension space that the Blue Team just vacated with $1,105,000.
Their spin for pension is a 10, and they receive $100,000 as a bonus, leaving them with $1,205,000.

They pass a Pay Day space and choose to retire at Millionaire Estates, whereupon they sell their Private Test Track for $750,000.
At the time of retirement, they have $1,960,000 in their possession and 6 Life Tiles - including one they acquired from being the second player (of a maximum of three) to retire at Millionaire Estates.

The Orange Team spins a 10 and passes a Pay Day + $10,000 Tune-Up en route to the last Orange Space - but they merely collect their salary, since their Segment Card has no room for additional Tune-Ups beyond the three they already have.
They take the Risky Path of Life, as predicted.
The Orange Team ends their turn by spinning a 7.
This takes them past a Pay Day space and to a Lawsuit space, where they sue the Blue Team for $100,000, thus leaving the Blue Team with $2,010,000 compared to the $330,000 the Orange Team has after they collected two salaries on this turn.

| Purple | 75 | Compact (50) | 3 | None | Main Dealership Outlet (625) | 1/1 | 0 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (75) |
The Purple Team spins a 6.
They pass a Pay Day + $10,000 Tune-Up space and collect their salary in addition to having their Segment Card maxed out. They also reach the last Orange Space, but unlike the Orange Team, they stay on the Safe Path of Life.
The Purple Team's second spin is a 4, yielding $5,000 for the Blue Team, which now has $2,015,000.
This takes the Purple Team past a Pay Day space (from which they collect their further enhanced salary) and to a Life Tile space that reads "Visit old soldier's home." They take a Life Tile from the Green Team, leaving them with five Life Tiles to the Purple Team's four. The Purple Team ends their turn with $185,000.
Turn 96 (Red)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |

| Purple | 185 | Compact (60) | 4 | None | Main Dealership Outlet (625) | 1/1 | 0 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (75) |
The Red Team spins an 8.
The Purple Team picks up a healthy $5,000 reward from the spin, thanks to their Part Card, and now has $190,000. In addition, the Red Team advances past a Pay Day + $10,000 Tune-Up space (from which they collect their salary) to the last Orange Space, and takes the Risky Path of Life.
The Red Team spins a 2.
They arrive at a Pay Space that reads "Sponsor sports tournament. Pay $35,000." They end their turn with $245,000, but the Green Team gained $5,000 from their Part Card at the same time as this second spin and now has $1,965,000.
Round Summary: The Blue Team is still holding on to second place in the net worth rankings, but only just. The Green and Yellow Teams are very close behind them, and a combination of Part Card returns and Life Tiles could decide the final outcome. And the Orange Team is on the verge of being the best of the rest if they get lucky, which would force the Purple and Red teams to fight it out for the chance to avoid a last-place finish.

In addition, the Yellow Team retires at Millionaire Estates and sells off their Luxury Super Dealer for $875,000 in addition to acquiring a Life Tile. They now have $1,980,000 in their possession - $20,000 more than the Green Team but $40,000 less than the Blue Team.

The Orange Team spins a 7.
They pass a Pay Day space and collect their salary of $50,000, leaving them with $385,000. They then land on a Life Tile space that reads "Host family reunion." They take a Life Tile from the Purple Team, and end their turn with four Life Tiles to the Purple Team's three.
Turn 101 (Purple)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |

| Purple | 190 | Compact (60) | 3 | None | Main Dealership Outlet (625) | 1/1 | 0 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (80) |
The Purple Team spins a 6.
They pass a Pay Day space, collect their salary (which puts them at $250,000), and, with the Purple Team's original destination already occupied by the Orange Team, arrive at the space immediately after it. That space is another Life Tile space; this is one of three that reads "You're a grandparent!". They take back the Life Tile the Orange Team claimed from them on the previous turn, and once again have four Life Tiles to the Orange Team's three.
Turn 102 (Red)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |

| Purple | 250 | Compact (60) | 4 | None | Main Dealership Outlet (625) | 1/1 | 0 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (80) |
The Red Team spins a 10.
They pass a Pay Day space and land on the next such space on the board, which places them two spaces behind the Orange Team in terms of positioning. They collect their salary twice in the process, and now have $365,000.
Round Summary: Only three teams (Red, Orange, and Purple) have yet to retire, and the battle for fourth could be just as intense for the one involving the top three teams (Blue, Yellow, and Orange), all of whom are now retired. This match is almost over, but "almost" isn't quite the same as "definitely", since anything can happen in at least the next two rounds, since that's how long it will take at the very least for everyone to retire, after which they can cash in their Life Tiles.

| Purple | 250 | Compact (60) | 4 | None | Main Dealership Outlet (625) | 1/1 | 0 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (80) |
The Yellow Team spins an 8.
The Purple Team has that number on their Part Card and thus gains $5,000, ensuring they begin the next turn with $255,000.
Turn 105 (Green)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |

The Green Team spins a 4.
This allows the Blue Team to gain $5,000 from their Part Card for the second time this round, and so that team ends their turn with $2,030,000.
Turn 106 (Orange)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

| Purple | 255 | Compact (60) | 4 | None | Main Dealership Outlet (625) | 1/1 | 0 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (85) |
The Orange Team spins a 9.
They pass a Pay Day + $10,000 Tune-Up space (ignoring the Tune-Up since their Segment Card has no spare capacity for more than three) and collect their $50,000 salary, but have to pay it straight back upon landing on a Pay Space that reads "Have family web site designed. Pay $50,000." They end their turn with the same $385,000 they had when they made their fateful spin - and to add insult to injury, the Red Team earned $5,000 from their Part Card and now has $370,000.
Turn 107 (Purple)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red | 370 | Midsize Sedan/Wagon (60) | 3 | None | 6-Car Workshop (375) | 1/1 | 0 | 9 (Lights and Accessories) (65) |

| Purple | 255 | Compact (60) | 4 | None | Main Dealership Outlet (625) | 1/1 | 0 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (85) |
The Purple Team also spins a 9.
The Red Team is thus able to gain another $5,000 using their Part Card and now has $375,000. In addition, the Purple Team advances past a Pay Day + $10,000 Tune-Up space (ignoring the Tune-Up since their Segment Card has its salary maxed out) and lands on a Life Tile space that reads "You're a grandparent!". They take a Life Tile from the Blue Team and now have $315,000 along with five Life Tiles to the Blue Team's four.
Turn 108 (Red)
| Player | Money (k$) | Segment/Salary (k$) | Life Tiles | STW Cards | Property (Value in k$) | Fans (M/F) | Debt (k$) | Part (k$ Returns) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

| Purple | 315 | Compact (60) | 5 | None | Main Dealership Outlet (625) | 1/1 | 0 | 8 (Interior, Safety, and Audio) (85) |
The Red Team spins a 10.
They pass a Pay Day + $10,000 Tune-Up space and collect their salary, which will remain unchanged for the next Pay Day space they reach due to it already being at its maximum value. They then sue the Orange Team for $100,000, leaving them with $285,000 to the Red Team's $535,000.
Round Summary: The Blue Team has lost a Life Tile to the Purple Team, which could hinder their chances of victory once all the Life Tiles are redeemed. More significantly, though, the Red Team has potentially knocked the Orange Team back into last place while making it less likely for themselves to suffer the same fate.

The Yellow Team spins a 2.
That number is what the Green Team has on their Part Card; as such, the Green Team receives $5,000 from the bank and will begin their next turn with $1,975,000.
Turn 111 (Green)

Meanwhile, due to the Purple Team occupying the space the Orange Team would've landed on, the latter advances to the nearest occupied space, which in this case is a Pay Day space. They collect their salary and now have $440,000.

Round Summary: It's a near certainty that the upcoming round, the 20th of this game, could be the last one. The Yellow and Green Teams have been chipping away at the Blue Team's advantage with the help of the former two's respective Part Cards, but whether or not it's enough to give either of those teams an unexpected comeback win remains to be seen.

Round Summary: After 20 rounds, this game has almost come to an end - the only thing left to do is for every team to cash in their Life Tiles. This is the moment the outcome of the game is finally decided - so who will come out on top?
As the first team in the order, the Blue Team is the first to trade in their Life Tiles for cash. They have the following four Life Tiles in their possession:
The combined value of these Life Tiles is $100,000, so their net worth is $2,135,000.
Next up is the Yellow Team, whose 5 Life Tiles have the following values:
The Yellow Team gains $130,000 from their Life Tiles and almost ties the Blue Team for net worth with $2,130,000.
The Green Team's Life Tiles are as follows:
Their combined value of $130,000 moves them into a two-way tie for second place with the Yellow Team at $2,130,000.
Of the 25 Life Tiles collected, the top three has a combined total of 14 such items (four $10,000 Life Tiles, three each of $20,000, $30,000, and $40,000 Life Tiles, and one $50,000 Life Tile). That leaves 11 Life Tiles (three each of $10,000 and $20,000 Life Tiles, a $40,000 Life Tile, and two each of $30,000 and $50,000 Life Tiles) yet to be redeemed. Which of the bottom three will get the most of their Life Tiles now that the top three placings have been decided? The results may surprise you... Or maybe they won't.
The Orange Team has three Life Tiles, whose values are as follows:
Their combined value of $140,000 gives them a final net worth of $1,030,000 - an amount considered unattainable until their late post-game surge.
The Purple Team's four Life Tiles' values are as follows:
They gain $100,000 from their quartet of Life Tiles and end their turn with $1,140,000.
The Red Team also has four Life Tiles, with their values being as follows:
With their $50,000 Life Tile bonus, they end up with $1,040,000 and finish ahead of the Orange Team by just $10,000 to avoid the dreaded last-place finish - but they are $100,000 behind the Purple Team for fourth. This puts the Blue Team in first place overall ahead of the Yellow and Green Teams, both of whom tied for second place - the Purple Team, meanwhile, settles for the title of best of the rest in third, while the Orange and Red Teams finish last and next-to-last respectively.

Final Thoughts
Fittingly for my 500th post, this one took almost a month to complete - but it was worth it. Considering the epic, nail-biting conclusion to this match, and the amount of anticipation surrounding it, there's a good reason Hasbro's 2007 redesign of the Game of Life should be even more popular in the competitive scene than it already is. More to the point, the hypothetical scenario described here has confirmed my theory that a car-themed reskin of that game would've been perfectly viable in period, and would've attracted a lot of new fans within the tabletop game and automotive enthusiasm demographics alike. I could continue the idea further with a second simulated game incorporating additional house rules, or choose a different rule set, but in light of the physical and mental effort required just to simulate one game, I might consider splitting game recaps into an individual post for each round, if there are enough players in the game (at least four). Still, it was fun while it lasted, and the next simulated Game of Life (assuming I actually make one) on this blog has big shoes to fill.
